What the Cave Taught Me This Time
Reflections from the Delphi Cave Experience 2026
I’ve just returned from Delphi.
And once again, I’m wondering how to put into words something that was never really about words.
Eight courageous people joined me for ten extraordinary days of meditation, ceremony, the study and embodiment of the 12 Universal Laws, and two journeys into the sacred cave.
There were tears. Laughter. Silence. Unexpected breakthroughs. Ancient olive groves. Sunrise meditations. And love… so much love.
But this year’s Delphi Cave Experience was different.
It went deeper.
A strong theme had emerged before we arrived around the balancing of masculine and feminine energies. Interestingly, our group included both a mother and daughter, and a father and son – a beautiful symmetry I couldn’t have planned.
Sacred geometry became part of our journey too.
I had two geometries specially created. On our first cave visit, we offered one representing masculine energy out of balance, with an intention for healing and greater balance within ourselves, our relationships and our world.
On our second visit, we offered a geometry representing balanced feminine energy, with an intention for greater harmony between these two principles.
Suddenly the Universal Laws of Gender and Polarity weren’t simply something we were studying. We were living them.
The cave within
Our cave mornings began early.
We walked through the mountains, sometimes in sacred silence, accompanied by the sound of a drum and rattle.
Before entering, we paused for ritual and intention. Inside, we gathered around an altar, took seven sacred breaths and repeated three simple words: I am here.
Each person was then given time deep within the cave to sit in silence.
No expectation.
Nothing to achieve.
Simply an invitation to listen.
By our second visit, something had changed. The group had changed. I had changed. And strangely, the cave seemed to have changed too.
It felt larger. Softer. More expansive.
I found myself understanding the cave differently.
Perhaps the cave isn’t only somewhere we travel to. Perhaps it represents those places within us that we don’t always want to enter – the grief, fear, old stories and unresolved experiences we have tucked away.
But those inner caves can also contain wisdom. Possibility. Love. Parts of ourselves waiting to be remembered.
Perhaps transformation occurs when we become willing to enter those places consciously – not to fight the darkness, but to bring awareness into it.
I was being taught too
Before leaving Australia, I wrote an intention in my journal:
To know myself.
To love myself.
To fully embody being myself.
I thought I was travelling to Delphi to hold space for others. Delphi reminded me that the facilitator is never separate from the journey.
I became quite unwell during our time there and eventually developed shingles. I had to rest. Receive help. Cancel a meditation. Listen to my body… and surrender.
Perhaps embodying who we are isn’t about becoming stronger, wiser or more “spiritual.” Perhaps sometimes it is simply about no longer abandoning ourselves.
Over those ten days I watched people soften.
Relationships deepened. Old pain surfaced and was met differently. Faces became lighter. Hope returned. People began seeing themselves – and their possibilities – through different eyes.
Not because a cave magically changed them, but because they had the courage to meet themselves there.
And then came one final message…
Before leaving the cave after our second visit, I received a very clear inner instruction:
Return in 2027.
And with it came the theme:
LOVE AS CONSCIOUSNESS – THE OBLITERATION OF FEAR
Those words have stayed with me.
I don’t yet know everything they will reveal. Perhaps I’m not supposed to. But I do know this:
The cave is calling again.
And if reading these words awakens something within you – curiosity, recognition, even a quiet maybe – you don’t need to understand it yet either.
I’m now inviting expressions of interest for the 2027 Delphi Cave Experience.
There is no obligation. It simply means you’ll be among the first to hear what is revealed about next year’s journey.
EXPRESS MY INTEREST IN DELPHI 2027
Sometimes the next chapter begins not with certainty… but with a quiet inner yes.
Until next month…
May you walk gently.
Love deeply.
Live fully.
Let. Love. Lead.
With love,
